Sonic Colours is a platform game developed by Sonic Team and released for the Wii in 2010. When Dr. Eggman opens a massive interstellar amusement park in space, Sonic and Tails become suspicious of his sudden generosity. Their investigation reveals that Eggman is using a mysterious alien race known as the Wisps to power his latest scheme, prompting Sonic to set out on a mission to stop him.
Players race through a variety of colourful and imaginative worlds, combining high-speed action with platforming, exploration and puzzle-solving. Throughout the adventure, Sonic can harness the powers of the Wisps to gain unique abilities, including drilling through terrain, blasting through the air and transforming into a laser of light.
