Game Overview

3D Thunder Blade is a recreation of a one-of-a-kind combat originally
released in 1987, re-mastered for the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system. In
3D Thunder Blade, players control a helicopter and use guns and missiles
to destroy enemy vehicles while flying between buildings, through caves,
and into enemy bases. The re-mastered version boasts stereoscopic 3D
visuals and adds a host of new features. Some of the additional features
include: gyro controls, adjustable difficulty settings, Circle Pad Pro
support, and a load of options that recreate the look and feel of the
original arcade machine. Replay saving and stage select are also
available! 3D Thunder Blade also introduces brand new remixes of the
original in-game music that can be toggled ‘on’ and ‘off’ and an
unlockable Special Mode with updated gameplay, new enemies, and a more
powerful fighter.

3D Thunder Blade does not currently have an overall rating.

Review data for this game has not yet been added to the SEGA Universe rating system.

SEGA Universe ratings are built from the review sources available for each game.

Community reviews are submitted by SEGA Universe members and use a 5-star rating system.

SEGA Universe reviews are editorial reviews written specifically for the site and may contribute to a game’s overall score.

For games originally released on classic SEGA platforms such as the Master System, Mega Drive (Genesis), Saturn and Dreamcast, historical magazine reviews may be used to provide contemporary critic scores from the time of release. These scores are normalised to a 100-point scale before being included in the rating.

For newer releases, Metacritic scores may be used when historical critic reviews are not available.

Not every game uses the same review sources. Some games may only have community reviews, while others combine community reviews, SEGA Universe reviews and critic scores.

Each available review source contributes equally to the final rating.

Rate 3D Thunder Blade, write your review, and join the discussion. Your review can be edited whenever your opinion changes.
