A Japanese soccer management RPG where you are the chairman of the club. You manage the team selection and tactics as well as finances, transfers, sponsorships and facilities.
The game features a prominent rival who owns a big conglomerate named Big Bang Konzern, owns your cross town rivals and wants to buy your club.
You can play in England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. The leagues and squads are based on the 2005/06 season despite the game taking place in 2006/07. This is due to the length of time it took to localize the game.
It remains the only console game in the "Saka Tsuku/Let's Make Soccer" series to release in the West. The mobile game Saka Tsuku: Road to World released in the West as Pocket Club Manager.
The game is notable for having a very active community on Neoseeker from the time of release until the mid 2010s despite the game being universally panned on release.
